

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on June 28, 2014 with his family by his side. Keith was born January 9, 1925 in Millville Cache County, Utah, to Ray Hamp Crockett and Camille Olsen. He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Maryland in the South Pacific during World War II. When he returned home from the war, he married Emma Joy Speth on November 22, 1946. Keith was active in his ward, and they were later married in the Oakland Temple. They had 66 wonderful years of marriage. Together they had one son, Michael Ray (Barbara), and one daughter, Rochelle (David). Keith worked for the Ford Motor Company as a mechanic, and as a long haul driver for Beacons Moving and PIE Freight Lines. He had a lifelong love of cars and could fix anything. After retiring, Keith became an avid golfer and enjoyed travelling with his wife. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Royce Roosendaal, and his sister Marilyn Raghainti. Keith’s greatest joy was his wife and family. He always had candy in his pocket for his grandkids and was known for his homemade fudge at Christmastime. He is survived by his wife, two children, six grandchildren: Kimberly (Mike), Jennifer (Fletcher), Alicia (T.J.), Michael (Kristie), Kyle (Kristy), and Elyse (Bryan) and sixteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on July 3rd at noon at Wasatch Lawn 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewing will be held on July 2nd from 6-8pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
