Kristie Ann Snow-Beauchaine, 64, passed away on March 15. Kristie was born on September 26, 1959, to Norma Johnson Snow and James Earl Snow in Salt Lake City where she lived her whole life. She graduated from Skyline High School in 1978 and from the University of Utah, where she made lifelong friends as a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
After college, Kristie spent over 20 years as a radio personality at various local stations. It was always a treat for her kids to join her at work and watch her operate the radio equipment. Later in life, she obtained a degree as a Master of Social Work and served as a counselor to those struggling with alcohol and drug addictions.
Kristie loved her family deeply and was devout in her faith. She had an open and kind heart and was a friend to many. She always lent an ear to those who needed it and had a soft spot for each pet she encountered.
Kristie is survived by her children, Jessica (Andrew) Sweeney, Katie (Ben) Sims, Michael Fredrickson; and grandsons Hank and Hugo.
Kristie is also survived by her best friend and sister, Jessie Snow Newman, and two brothers, Jim (Diana) Snow, and Karl (Laverne) Snow. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Bonnie Snow, and her husband Leon Beauchaine.
The family gives special thanks to the East Millcreek 4th Ward, especially to Judy Thompson, who provided so much love and support.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3103 East Craig Drive in Salt Lake City, Utah.
