

With a warm smile and loving demeanor Lee G. Richards, age 90, bids you glorious farewell. Lee returned home on March 22, 2016 to greet his beautiful, endearing sweetheart Hazel Richards, who he married in the SLC Temple in 1951 and was blessed with 3 wonderful, cherished children: Jennie Zelig, Michael Richards (Paulette), and Annette Richards. Lee served as a Marine in the US military and graduated from the University of Utah in Accounting. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he served diligently in many callings, including a mission to Argentina. Lee distinguished his life and blessed the lives of others as an exemplar of kindness, gentleness, and optimism, with an amazing talent for uplifting those around him. Survived by his sisters Nancy Poulton and Margaret Richards, 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to the SLC Veterans Nursing Home, Bristol Home and Hospice for their loving care. And to Charlie Brown, the V.A.’s kangaroo for hopping into his room to check on him. We love you Papa, until we meet again at the Cabin and Over the Rainbow. Services: Saturday March 26, 2016. Viewing 10:00 -10:45. Funeral 11:00-12:00 at 2675 E. 4430 So.
