Linda was born on January 3, 1964 in Salt Lake City to her cherished parents, Werner S. and Anna K. Ronne. She completed their family of six, joining her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
Linda was a proud graduate of the Cottonwood High School class of 1982, and loved attending their class reunions over the years to visit and reconnect with her classmates. She kept up with several school friends and neighbors, even after she moved from the area. Linda attended the University of Utah and was a member of the Kappa Nu sorority.
Linda moved to Phoenix, Arizona in the ‘90s and not only loved the heat, but also not having to drive in the snow. She enjoyed listening to audio books, often proudly surpassing her Goodreads goal. She even got to meet several of her favorite authors and audiobook narrators. She loved animals, trains, and the color green. Linda enjoyed traveling and got to experience adventures from Denmark to Jamaica and throughout the United States. She treasured her visits back to Salt Lake, especially if she got to stop at Lake Powell on her drive to and from. She looked forward to her monthly Bunco nights with her girlfriends and cheered loud and proud for her Utah Utes.
Linda loved musicals and plays, getting to see many throughout her life – some of her favorites included Wicked, Cats, and Les Miserables. Linda lived a life of kindness toward others, always trying to find the positive and share it with those around her. She was a loyal friend.
Linda was a dedicated employee at EMI Health, formerly Total Dental Administrators. She’d been there for over 20 years and had built a strong network. She enjoyed her work, but especially loved her colleagues she considered friends.
Linda is loved by many and will be missed by all.
Linda is survived by her siblings — JoAnn (Bill), Alice (John), and Allan (Sharon) — her nieces Brooke, Kelli, Melissa, and Breanna, nephew Brandon, great-niece Maggie, and countless friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Werner and Anna, nephew Brad, and niece Holly.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 S. Highland Drive. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 26 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn and also at 9:30 a.m. on Friday prior to funeral services.
