Lois K Farnsworth

On March 19 the world lost one Spunky, Feisty Lady, our beloved mother, grandmother and "grandma Great", Lois Keene Farnsworth. She was born January 10, 1929 to Clayton Earl and Clara Pearl Lloyd Keene. She was the only sister to three brothers. She married Lawrence B. Farnsworth on June 18, 1947. Together they raised three sons.

Lois graduated from West High School. She went on to work her way up the corporate ladder at Utah Power and Light where she was a statistician forecasting electrical needs for the western United States. After her retirement she was the first female to be called back as a consultant. She loved fishing and boating and was instrumental in establishing The Yacht Club at Flaming Gorge.

Lois is survived by her three sons, Randell Lawrence (Kay) South Africa serving an LDS Mission, Gary Keene (Linda) Manila, Ut and Michael Alan (Fedi) West Jordan. 16 grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and her Best Sister/friend.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to ALZ.org. Online condolences at www.wasatchlawn.com.
