Lynn was born December 15, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Blaine Cabble and Jeanne Nicholes Taylor. Lynn and his two sisters grew up in Holladay, Utah where he graduated from Olympus High School in 1969. He served a mission in Texas for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah.
Lynn married his sweetheart Mary “Betsy” Parr on March 18, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised four children Kirstin (Doug) Park, Jonathan (Erika) Taylor, Aaron (Alyse) Taylor, and Ryan (Tammy) Taylor. Grandpa Lynn was loved by his 12 grandchildren.
Lynn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. Despite many health challenges he lived a life of dedicated service. He was an amazing example of strength and enduring well to the end.
He loved to play golf, especially with his sons. He had an infectious sense of humor that made everyone laugh. He loved to read and was often surrounded by stacks of books. He was blessed with a beautiful singing voice we will all miss. Lynn’s greatest achievement was his marriage of 44 years and his beautiful family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
