Marc was preceded in death by his beloved high school sweetheart, Lana Parkinson; his parents, Phil and Joan; his brother Brad; and his sister Liz. He is survived by his sons, Marcus, Cole, and Clay; his cherished grandchildren, Abi and Luke; and his brothers, Ed and Mike.
Marc and Lana were married in 1971, the beginning of a lifelong connection filled with love and resilience. They spent nearly a decade in Orange County, CA before returning to Utah where they would raise their 3 boys. Marc’s love for Lana remained unwavering throughout his life.
With a passion for all things outdoors, Marc found joy in hunting, fishing, and shooting alongside his boys. He treasured the moments spent watching his granddaughter dance and cheering for his grandson on the ball field.
Known for his immense heart and unfiltered honesty, Marc wore his emotions on his sleeve. He was never shy about expressing his love—or his opinions. His quick wit and knack for storytelling were legendary, as were his boundary-pushing jokes that often left those around him both laughing and shaking their heads.
Marc’s presence in the lives of those who knew him was larger than life. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, humor, and authenticity will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A Celebration Of Life will be held on Sunday, December 29th from 11:00 – 2:00 at the Day Barn, 1166 E Pioneer Rd., Draper UT, 84020.
