

She was born on April 10, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert E. and Lois H. Pullan. She married her sweetheart, Ernest T. Rowbotham on July 30, l956 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
She was a lifelong member of the LDS church where she held positions of trust and leadership in the Primary and Relief Society ward organizations. Mom was a diligent visiting teacher where, for as long as she was able, she served her Relief Society sisters as a true servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mom had a strong testimony of the gospel and always strived to teach her children gospel principles through both word and action. Her greatest passion in life was her family.
Mom attended Bingham High School where she was an active member of the Minerette Drill Team. She held fond memories of her participation in half time activities during football and basketball games and being taught proper etiquette by her drill instructor. Following her graduation from Bingham high school in 1945, she worked for Utah Power and Light for 14 years. A loyal and devoted friend, mom developed relationships with classmates in Kindergarten which have endured to this day.
Mom will be remembered for her selfless devotion to her family, striving to serve others in small quiet ways, and unwavering faith. She enjoyed putting the needs of her family first and inviting unexpected guests to a freshly baked cake or a plate of cookies.
She is survived by her brothers, Robert and Grant (Sharlene) Pullan; children, Nancy (Steve) Hoskins, Reed (Melodie) Rowbotham and Richard (Jana) Rowbotham; grandchildren , Jennifer (Aaron) Young, Jamie (Clayton) Riding, Scott, Eric, Heather (Trevor) Nelson, Kyle, Kaitlyn, David and three great grandchildren, Emmaline, Eliza, Joshua, and three great grandchildren on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, Stanley and Marvin.
Funeral services for Marjorie will be held on Thursday April 26, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Milstream Ward, 3400 So 1100 East. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 340l So Highland Drive and again at the church on Thursday morning from 11:45-12:45 AM prior to the services. Internment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
