Charley never met a stranger. He was well-liked by all who knew him. He served his country as a medic in the U.S. Army, and his community as a California Highway Patrol Officer. Following retirement from the force, he worked as an auto and heavy truck mechanic. He also served in the Jordan River Temple for twelve years as an ordinance worker, and three years as a trainer in the Draper, Utah Temple, as well as a funeral director assistant at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. His grandkids will always remember Saturdays as “Donut Day” when he would doorbell ditch their houses leaving behind a box of donuts, and all will remember his amazing and often humorous stories.
