I am so sorry to just learn of the loss of my dear friend Mellanie. I met her when she moved in across the way at LSV. In the 5 years my husband and I have been traveling for his work, I have never met anyone who actually became such a good friend! Even when we left to go back to Texas we kept in touch, calling weekly, texting and exchanging little trinkets through Amazon. We have been in Japan for a few months, but I got her to install What’s app so we could still communicate. I was worried when I did not hear back from her in January. 
She loved her family dearly (talked about Holly all the time),  and was so looking forward to her new great grandson! My heart is broken, and I will treasure her friendship for the rest of my life!

We are so saddened to hear about our friend Mell. We have known her for about forty years. She was a hoot and we spent some good times with her and Dave. 
I would take my granddaughters to visit her the cats and rat. I would take them to ding dong drop off Valentine’s and then they would reciprocate. 
I’m going to miss her she was a good friend. Condolences to the family ❤️

I found out a couple days ago that Mellanie Maxfield passed away. It was heart breaking because Haley had just finished painting 2 baby dragons to match a dragon Mellanie had named Medusa.  Haley wrapped the package up and drove to the post office. Then right when she got back and was walking in my room I heard the news that Mellanie had passed. Mellanie was so special to our family. She treated my kids like her grandchildren and me like a daughter.  Calling to check in and sending us confetti birthday cards. She had to tell me her latest crafts and the funny things her animals were always doing. She took the time to know my children and I personally. She made our lives so much happier.   When I saw Mellanie was calling everyone would be excited for their turn to chat. She loved big. She loved me big. In the last little bit she told me how much she loved me and how much joy me and my girls brought to her life. I am glad she got to have her last birthday and bring in the new year. That this year still has a piece of it with her in it. Her death is a big loss to those that knew her. Such a surprise since she beat cancer. I am going to miss her voice and her laugh! I am going to really miss her.

Will miss your smile and bubbly self.  So glad to have been your friend and neighbor.   And was so glad to have you as a confident person i always felt good about leaving my key with you when we were on vacation.  Will miss you forever.   Rest in peace our friend.  Gordon and Dianna Bingham.

We are sure going to miss you.
