"Mimi"
In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness that the family of Mimi Tedesco announces her passing after years battling dementia, on Saturday October 13, 2018, at the age of 75.
Mimi will be forever remembered by her partner of nearly 20 years Kenneth Goe, her two children Luke and Dave, four grandchildren Josh, Ashley, Thomas, and Birdie, her half brother Matthew Behr, and niece Sara Bird. Mimi was predeceased by her brother Paul Bird.
Mimi graduated from East High School in SLC, UT in 1960. She then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in philosophy and a Master's degree in Education and proceeded to teach school for roughly 20 years. Later in life she also earned degrees in Nursing, first as an RN and then as a Psychiatric Nurse and proceeded to work for the Western Institute of Neuropsychiatry before finally working as the Head Psychiatric Nurse at the Salt Lake City jail.
A celebration of her life, visitation service, and internment will be held Monday November 5, 2018 at 1:00pm, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, SLC UT.
