

Ever loving, kind, and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Mitzi Poulton Bailey died April 2, 2015. Born in Salt Lake City to her loving Daddy and Mom, Ernest and Jeanne Mol Poulton on October 28, 1923. She married Raymond H. Patterson in 1946. He died in a tragic plane crash. Married Arlo L. Bailey and they enjoyed being together in business, at home and traveling for 62 years. Mitzi loved being a mother to three daughters, Thayer, Paris (Tom), and Capri; and grandmother to Tobin, Zoe, Nick, Clio, Ren and Tessa. Great-grandmother to Mina and Kip. Also survived by her one and only sibling Betty/Pat Thayer, and her niece, Tana. Mitzi began a long career in radio and TV while attending South High School in 1941. She was a member of the KSL Players and was heard daily on several programs. Later was program director and assistant manager of KMUR and KWIC Radio. Her program “Time for Milady” was aired daily for over ten years. “Mitzi’s Garden” was seen on KSL, TV and KUTV. She was also in many stage productions with the Salt Lake Theatre, Deseret Theatre, Playbox, and the Pick Wick Players. Mitzi’s ashes are in the Garden of the Lilies niche at Wasatch Lawn Memorial. There was a gathering of family on Friday April 11th, 2015.
