Neil Allen Ogden Sr passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 14, 2015. Neil was born in Springville, Utah on October 23, 1932 to Neils Albert and Maude Ogden. Neil grew up in Sugarhouse where he attended the University of Utah. After graduation he moved to Southern California. While working in the carpet business he met and married Sharron Dillon. They were married for 56 years. Together they had three children; Cathy who passed away in 1989, Allen and Christine. Neil is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mildred Garret and Joan Ogden, wife Sharron and daughter Cathy Bahr. Survived by son Allen Ogden, daughter Christine Johnson, 6 grandchildren. Neil loved his children and grandchildren deeply. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, horses and boating. Services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 am at Saint Vincent DePaul, 1375 Spring Lane, Salt Lake City, Utah with a viewing on Friday December 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 1301 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106 and on Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at the church.
