He was born December 10, 1923 in Salt Lake City, UT to Christopher and Bernice Williams. He married Patrine (Pat) Norregard April 9, 1949 in Ely, Nevada.
Paw served proudly in the U.S. Navy in World War II and also in the Korean War. He served on numerous ships but his favorite was the USS Yorktown (CVA-10). He will wear that hat with him forever.
After his discharge, he entered the civilian community as a welder and pursued this for his entire career.
Unfortunately, he lost the love of his life Pat unexpectedly on June 4th, 1994. During the last week of his life, all he wanted to do was to be with her again. Now he is.
Paw’s oldest son Doug passed unexpectedly on December 31, 2001. He will be buried with his father.
He is survived by his children L. Blaine Williams, Christine J. Cramer (Bill), Diane L. Perkins (Tom) and six grandchildren, Wendy, Adriana, Tiffiny (Eric), Amanda (Casey), Erik and Rachelle who has Downs Syndrome and had a very special bond with Paw. She will miss him tremendously.
Paw will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Paw’s last few weeks were spent at Highland Cove Retirement Community. We wish to thank the wonderful care provided to Paw there. It made his last days more comfortable.
