

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt.
Passed away peacefully June 23, 2011 with her family at her side due to complications from stomach cancer.
She was born in Denver, CO on June 9, 1944 to Helen Campbell and Kenneth Lawrence Monson. She was the 5th of 11 children and had 5 sisters and 5 brothers. She attended school in Denver and graduated from Lakewood High School. She married E.J. Passey July 20, 1964 in the Logan Utah temple. Their union produced 6 sons and one beautiful daughter. They primarily lived in Salt Lake City, but she particularly enjoyed her 14 years in Casper, Wyoming.
Some of her many talents/passions included art for which she won awards, reading to her kids, playing piano and organ, crafts that were shared with many, and she was an avid shopper for anything on sale.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints having served in Primary, Relief Society, Young Women, Cub Scouts, and organist.
Survived by husband, E.J. Passey, who provided loving care throughout her illness, her children; Ted (Allyson), Eric (Heather), Eldon (Stacy), Jeffrey (Tara), Carolyn, Paul (Tiffany), Kent (Ashley), 21 grandchildren, her 97 year old mother Helen, 10 siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her father Kenneth.
Services will be held on Wed., June 29, 2011, 11AM at the Cottonwood 4th ward chapel, 5655 Neighbor Lane (1610 East). A viewing will be held on Tues., June 28, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary (3401 S Highland Dr) and from 9:45AM to 10:45AM at the church prior to the service. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
