Pat Giamalakis

Irene (Pat) Giamalakis was born on March 17, 1932, in the state of Utah. She was raised in the town of Magna, Utah, by her parents, George and Carrie Papanikolas. Irene (Pat) grew up with her four siblings: John, Bess, Tess, and Dorothy Papanikolas. Pat was known for her selfless, kind hearted, and giving soul, which stems from her family. Pat came from a very hardworking and respected family.

Pat married Mike Giamalakis on June 8, 1958, in Salt Lake City at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Salt Lake. Together, Pat and Mike Giamalakis cherished a 67-year marriage while giving birth to one son, Pete Giamalakis. The most cherished part of Pat's life are her three grandchildren.

Pat is preceded in death by her father, George Papanikolas, her mother, Carrie Papanikolas, and her four siblings, John, Bess, Dorothy Papanikolas, and Tess Paloukas.

Pat is survived by her husband, Mike Giamalakis, her son, Pete Giamalakis (Darci), and her three grandchildren, Michael, Peter, and Andrew Giamalakis.
