Ralph Eugene Hofmann

Ralph Eugene Hofmann was born November 11, 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT and passed away on May 25, 2026 in Salt Lake City UT. Ralph was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was baptized at the age of 8 and was ordained a deacon, teacher, priest and elder at the appropriate ages. Ralph graduated from Olympus High School and his main employer after that was Deseret Industries. He made friendships at work and loved having a friend or family member to talk to. He enjoyed going to the gym to ride the exercise bicycle and soak in the hot tub. He mastered many bus routes in the Greater Salt Lake Valley helping him to be more independent. He always tried to keep in touch with members of the Kenwood 1st Ward where he grew up.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Karl Edward Hofmann Jr, mother, Ruth Johanna Cammack Hofmann and brother-in-law El Dean Gale.

Ralph is survived by his siblings Phyllis Tondro (Keith), Susan Gale, Wayne Hofmann (Tina), Karl Hofmann, Lewis Hofmann (Linda), Beth Brox (Roger), Jean Hofmann.

A private graveside service to be held on June 4, 2026, followed by interment at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E 4580 S, Salt Lake City, UT.
