Richard Halford

Richard Michael Halford, passed away April 17, 2012, in Sandy, Utah. Born April 9, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Charles & Lillian Halford, and was the youngest of twelve children. He attended West High School. Married to Karen Nelson they later divorced. He married Kathleen Anne Halford on May 17, 1980. Richard retired after 41 years from United Electric Supply Company. He started a second career with his wife Kathleen working together in their Bridal Shop, “The Brides’ Shop”.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen Anne, children: Jill & Jerome Stam, Wendy Halford & Cullen McCarty, Christy & James Runyan, Melissa Laurel & Craig Oborn, Anthony & Robyn Pinto; two siblings: Leroy& Leola Halford and Dora & Joseph Plant, sister-in-law Judy Halford, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, step-daughter, Michelle Lynn Pinto; siblings: Charles, Lillian, Lawrence, Horace, Violet, Lucille, Kenneth, John, and David.
