Robert passed to his eternal camping spot on April 17, 2019, at the age of eighty three. He was born in Los Angeles, California, to Herman Krahenbuhl and Marie Hafeli. He is survived by his best friend and ex-wife, Dorothy Franz.
Robert is also survived by his three children, Robert, Susan, and Jeri Lynn. Five amazing grandchildren who have graced him on hikes, dog walks, boating expeditions, and shenanigans... Ellie, Houston, Conner, Tristan, and Bodhi were his cohorts in many silly celebrations and afternoons of mischief. He enjoyed golfing, hiking, and sugary delicious donuts. An avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and explorer he could often be found in nature taking it all in and enjoying the sunshine!
Robert served in the Korean war as a scout observer from 1953- 1955. He was proud to have served his county. As a master electrician he spent many hours in the construction trade with his wild brothers.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 3:00 PM, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary 3401 Highland Drive Salt Lake City, Utah 84106.
