Robert C Nelson

Robert (Bob) Charles Nelson, 83, passed peacefully in his home on July 13, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Christine Nelson; son, Aaron Nelson (Jordie); daughters, Shellie Hoyt and Victoria Edmonds; grandchildren, Evan Hoyt, Makena Hoyt, Luke Edmonds, Gabriella Edmonds.

Bob experienced much joy and much sorrow throughout his life. Even after losing his first wife and three children in a terrible accident, he remained a kind, loving, humble friend and light to all around him. His strength was the foundation of our family; he was the "Captain" of our ship and to all who knew him.

His entrepreneurial spirit and incredible work ethic, coupled with his unshakable integrity led him to many successes in both business and in life.

We'll forever miss his aviator sunglasses, long (really long) talks, his quiet wit and ability to both take and give a punch when necessary. He was always a champion for the underdog and stood firmly in his principles for what was fair and right. He won unheard of condemnation proceedings against the state of Utah, holding out and protecting all concerned.

Bob was larger than life, everyone loved him and knew he was "the man in charge" and loved them right back.
