Ron will be lovingly remembered by his brother and sisters, Janice Blackham (Scott), Mark E. Seward (Beth), and Jill Gunther (Chad) and their children. He was a generous and devoted uncle to his six nieces and nephews, Brett Blackham (Cindy), Rob Blackham (Suzy), Aubrey Martorana (Andy), Amber Seward, Skylar Gunther and Kirsty Gunther. The fun Bingo games he would arrange at family holiday parties with the amazing and unique gifts will be greatly missed and fondly cherished.
A native of Salt Lake City, Ron served an LDS mission to Australia and earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. He worked as a senior product software engineer at Wolters Kluwer Health for more than 20 years. Ron was the longest tenured employee at the company. He loved magic and would perform his talents at various casinos in Las Vegas. He served as the territorial vice president for the IBM (International Brotherhood of Magicians). He was also a certified hypnotist with the National
Guild of Hypnotists and shared that forte as well.
A viewing will take place Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 10 to 10:45 am with funeral services immediately following at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary. The service will be live-streamed for those who are unable to make it.
