Rosa Organista

Rosa “Abuelita Linda”, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was 85 years old. She was born in Mexico City, Mexico.

On June 3, 1952, she married Jose Refugio Organista Villanueva and they enjoyed 65 beautiful years together before his passing. They are now reunited.

Her memory will live on through her three children, Mario, Jose Angel and Rosa Maria; her children-in-law Tere and Sergio; ten grandchildren Mario Rodolfo and Katie, Sergio and Tiffany, Joel Lehi, Miriam and Natua, Eduardo, Joelette, Joseph; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rosa enjoyed life, family and many friends. She was loved for her selflessness, sweetness, humor and kindness. She lived a life full of love and happiness. She loved to travel around the world with family and greatly appreciated the world’s beauty. A devout Catholic her entire life, she had a deep appreciation for what she had and for those around her. She was always there to brighten the lives of others with her beautiful smile and will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
