Our mother passed away peacefully Nov. 19, of altzheimers , and old age. She was born Ruby Sylvia Koenig, July 11, 1926 in SLC, to Henry and Marta Koenig. She started working at the Center theater, and Kresses, while still in high school, this is where she met our dad John. They married and were together for 68 years. They had four children, Susan, Timothy, Nancy and Shaun. She loved them all very much. Mom was a very hard worker. She lived through the depression, and during WWII she was a welder in the shipyards while Dad was in the Navy. She worked various jobs her entire life. She maintained a very clean and organized home while taking good care of us. She had a great sense of humor, and was most happy while with her family. She was religious in her heart, and prayed every day. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Keith Allgier, parents Martha and Henry Koenig, and daughter Susan Makelprang. Survived by her sister, Pearl V. Allgier, children, Tim (Susie), Nancy Bishop, Shaun (Michelle), 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was loved and will be dearly missed. Our family would like to thank Heritage Place, and Envision Hospice for all their caring and support. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm Monday Nov. 24, 2014 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 S Highland Drive) where friends may call one hour prior to services.
