November 14, 1939- April 21, 2022
Our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend, Sharon was reunited with her eternal companion Michael as she returned to our father in heaven. She was surrounded by her children as she passed on the 21st of April. Sharon lived a full life and was loved by so many. She was an avid collector of many things throughout her life. Many knew her for her Santas, Kewpies, Snow babies, plates, etc. However, Sharon prized nothing in life more than her family and the people she collected.
No matter where life took her from her neighborhood in West Valley, to Truewood, or one of the many care centers she was at during the last few years of her life, she impacted countless people. Whether through one of her many talents such as quilting, or painting, or her jovial attitude, she worked tirelessly to bring people together and to serve all those around her, often with or without their consent. She had a way of making people smile and of bringing joy to those who were searching for an angel in their lives.
So many who loved her would tell stories of her love for playing cards, or games with friends, calling bingo, working on arts and crafts, helping to decorate the care center for various holidays or supplying the neighbors with homemade caramel popcorn, and muddy buddies. Regardless of what she was doing she was always looking for a way to serve others.
Sharon also had a beautiful testimony of our savior and his atonement as well as the knowledge that families are eternal in nature. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Nothing truly made her happier than when she was able to serve as a temple worker. She was so excited for the opportunity to attend her grandsons upcoming sealing in May.
Her titles included Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Dear Friend. Whatever her current title it was one of love. Though she will be missed by those she leaves behind, what a joyous reunion she is having with her Eternal Sweetheart, Baby Boy, Parents, and Redeemer. We take great comfort in the knowledge we will be together again as Families are Forever.
Sharon is survived by her children - Rhea (Gary), Cory (Marci), Bryce (Necia), Jason (Heidi), and Carrie. 12 Grandchildren- Lacey (JT), Blake, Myken (Steven), Justice, Brylee, Bowen, Parker (Cadence), Michael, and Tyler, and her 2 Great Grandchildren Declan, and Madelyn. Her Brother Kent (Sandy) and Sister Cathy. Sharon is preceded in death by her Eternal Companion Michael, son Darrel and parents Wells and Rhea.
