

Born Jan. 8, 1934 passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home in Draper, Utah on Oct. 23, 2011 from Kidney failure. She leaves behind her husband of 56 and a half years, Neil A. Ogden, her son Neil “Allen” Ogden of Clinton, Utah, daughter; Christine Marie Baird of Riverton, Utah, two brothers; George A. Dillon of Lincoln, Mo. and Wendell J. Dillon of Sparks, Nv. ; six grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents George P. and Wanda Dillon, daughter Catherine Marie Ogden Bahr. Sharon was born in Chicago, Ill and moved to Southern California when she was 17. After graduating from Van Nuys High School, she worked as a book keeper for The Bank of America where she met and married Neil. She owned and operated a Beauty Salon, and Carpet store. They moved to Utah in 1981, opened a Carpet store in 1994 and retired in 2004. Graveside services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park 3401 South Highland Dr. Salt lake City, UT at 10 am Friday Oct. 28th. The family wishes to express their deepest thanks to Dr. Patrick R McDermott, Dr. Melinda J McAnulty, Dr. Greg Goodman, the staff at South Mountain Dialysis, the staff of the ICU at IMC Hospital in Murray, and the staff of Rocky Mountain Care Hospice for the loving care they gave to Sharon and family while she was with us.
