Stanley Guy Sprouse

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, sister Pamela S. Martin, and brother Sterling Sprouse.

He is survived by his brother and best friend, Steven Sprouse; sister Peggy M. Sprouse; Patricia S. Woolley (Brent); and sister-in-law Marcia Snow Hilton (Allen); as well as many nieces and nephews whom he would speak of often.

Stan was a firefighter for the South Salt Lake Fire Department for 24 years before he retired. Later in life, Stan worked in retail and as a crossing guard and train host of UTA, until his health did not permit him to continue working.

Stan loved to travel with his wife and family. He was a great fan of Nascar and was able to travel to Bristol, Tennessee, where he was able to go down in the pit and talk to the drivers.

The family would like to thank Chief Terry Addison and Deputy Chief Roger Hoffman of the South Salt Lake Fire Department, Bill Roeling and Keven Olsen for all the help they have given us at this time.
