Summer Williams

Summer Williams, age 58, passed away Tuesday night June 25, 2013 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She was born June 9, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard and Lucille Williams. She graduated from Highland High School in 1973.

Sum-mer [suhm-er], the period of finest development, perfection, or beauty previous to any decline.

Friends and family were the center of her universe. She embraced her stewardship of her world with a passion, leaving her mark of beauty in her garden, her horses and on the hearts of those she touched. Like every summer of our childhood, beautiful, fun, warm, never the same, always fleeting and much too short. We all look forward to meeting again.

Summer is survived by her son Jason Carranza (Tiffany),Grandchildren Alexis, Braydon and Coby, father, Richard, brothers; Stacy, Paul, Tom, and sisters; Sue, Kate, Alice, Marge, Dori, Tami, Stephanie, Leslie and three grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother Lucille, and brother Steve.

A Life Celebration will be held at the home of Summer Williams, June 29, 2013, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at 1360 East Siesta Drive, Sandy UT. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to Huntsman Institute.
