Thomas William “Bill” Burdette, age 87, passed away at home in Riverton, Utah. He was born May 22, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas Goodwin Burdett and Agnes Marie Glassett. He attended Granite High School, and served in the US Army during WWII. Married Jerry Wood on October 1, 1948 in Salt Lake City.
Bill was an excellent body & fender mechanic employed by Streator Chevrolet for many years, retiring from Ken Garff.
He is survived by his beloved wife Jerry; his children Michael (Terri), Claudia, Daniel (Linda); and sister Darlene Allen. Preceded in death by son, Gary Burdette, parents, brother, Don Burdett and sister, Bonnie Whiting.
Graveside services will be held Saturday 11:30 AM with a viewing 10:15 to 11:15 A.M. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to www.wasatchlawn.com
