As a child she moved from city to city. Starting in Salt Lake, then Layton, Clearfield, Pocatello Idaho and Whittier California before moving back to Salt Lake. During that time her parents had two more children which survive her, Stephen Lynn Golightly II in Ohio and Scott J Golightly and his wife Kate in California.
After returning to Salt Lake she graduated from Olympus High School in 1959.
Trying to find her niche in life she met and married my father, Warren Howard Palmer, on August 31, 1963 in Elko Nevada. Later divorced. In December 22nd 1964 she gave birth to her only child Stephanie Eden Palmer.
She became a computer tech in open heart surgery at LDS hospital. Later she became a phlebotomist at Cottonwood Hospital. She returned to school, attending Weber State and became a respiratory therapist at Cottonwood Hospital.
In 1987 she was diagnosed with COPD and in 1995 she went on disability due to declining health.
In 1981 she became a member of Mount Olympus Presbyterian Church later transferring her membership to Cottonwood Presbyterian Church.
She returned home to God on January 21, 2019 from respiratory failure. She is very much loved and very much missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on April 13, 2019 at 11:00 am at Cottonwood Presbyterian Church 1580 E Vine Street (6100 South). Murray Utah.
