Vernice passed away at her home due to complications of Sarcoidosis of the lungs. She was born to Roiva and Vernice Farnsworth Jensen. Vernice graduated from Granite High School in 1950. She married and was sealed to Jared Reed Christensen November 1950; later divorced. She married Barry Dean Staber November 7, 1959; later divorced. Vernice is survived by her children, Debra Christensen Brown, Blaine Kurt Staber, Diane Kathy Staber Ault and Brent Kyle Staber; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Reed Christensen and Jared Roiva Christensen. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Midvalley 1st Ward Chapel, 1050 E. Chapel Hill Drive (7410 South), Midvale, UT., with a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
