Vicki Lou (Dymus) King

Vicki was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don; her parents, Edward and Anna Marie; her sister, Jeanne; her brother, Robert; her son, Ron “Butch” McDaniel; and her grandchildren, Brandon Schaumann and Brenton Schaumann.

She is survived by her daughters, Celeste Schaumann and Christine (Shane) Logan; her sons, Michael (KaDe) and Robert (Faby); along with 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought tremendous joy to her life.

Vicki spent 30+ years working for Larsen Supply Company in Santa Fe Springs, California, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and warm personality.

She had a lifelong love of sports and loved watching baseball, football, tennis, golf, auto and horse racing, and the Olympics. She was a devoted fan of Notre Dame football and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Among her favorite athletes were Steve Yeager, Joe Montana, and Cody Bellinger. She enjoyed bowling, rock & roll music, and attending concerts—her first being the Rolling Stones. She also loved musicals and gardening, especially the gardenia, her favorite flower.

Her family will be holding a Celebration of Life in the near future.
