Wallace Edward Collinson, age 78, passed away peacefully in his home September 7, 2014 in Sandy, Utah. He was born August 16, 1936 in Salt Lake City to Shelby L. Collinson and BillIe Lucille Wright. He attended West High School. He married Georgina Haddock on August 17, 1956 in Salt Lake City. Wallace was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fly-fisherman. He was also a history buff and particularly enjoyed researching the events and the people of the old west. He is survived by his wife Georgina Haddock Collinson and daughters; Colleen Nixon and Diane Paulson as well as eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents , his son; Wallace Kent Collinson and his grandson Jeff Paulson. Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 13, 2014 at the church on 1165 E 8600 S Sandy, Utah at 11:00am with a viewing beginning at 9:30am.
