Wayne Curtis Pratt, 90, passed away on June 8th
Born January 23, 1936, to Clarence and Mildred Pratt, Wayne lived a life defined by family, service, humor, and hard work.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Geraldine Barr and Connie Vourus. He is survived by his wife, Sue Lewis Pratt, and her daughter, Lisa; his children, Sherril David (Robert), Lezlee Brown Grow (John), Sean Pratt (Kelly), and Lisa Fershin; his sister, Sharron Higgins; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Wayne worked at NCR and later as an executive with Motorola, where he was inducted into the prestigious Galvin Masters sales fraternity. He was immensely proud to be a veteran and was stationed in Germany in 1956, just after the Korean War. He was also a student and supporter of the University of Utah.
Wayne loved golf (3 holes in one), was a devoted Utah Utes fan, and was known for his humor, especially in hard times. One of his favorite sayings was, “Is it 5 o’clock yet?”
Graveside Services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary on June 23th at 3:00 pm.
