Andrew McGann

Loving husband of Catherine McGann of sixty-two years, they raised their three children in Port Jefferson Station NY, Andrew Jr. (Maria) (Kathleen), Frank (Arleen), and Ann-Margaret (John).

Proud Poppa and adored by Andrew Patrick III, Nikole Anne, Stephanie Ann, Stacie Marie, Jennifer Lynn, Kerri Ann, Frank Perri, Jason John, Caitlyn Rose, and Catherine Marie.

Andrew was also blessed enough to be in three of his great grandchildren's lives, Sean Patrick, Jaina Rae, and Maveryck Fitzgerald.

Andrew held several occupations throughout his life; Supervisor at a trucking company (Branch/Pilot), Laborer on the highway department at the Town of Brookhaven, and he was also known as “Egg Man” at his son Andrew’s bagel store for many years. He enjoyed watching the Yankees and Giants, but even more so when they won. Andrew enjoyed traveling the world with Catherine, family, and friends. His favorite annual trip was spending the winters in Florida the last 20+ years.

Romance could have been Andrew's middle name, as without fail, he would always have a bouquet of roses for Catherine on special occasions. He truly loved his wife and the family they built together over the years.

Andrew is preceded in his death by his parents, Andrew, and Mary, as well as his two sisters, Jane and Mae and his beloved dog Holly. Andrew is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Andrew will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, A Firematic Service will begin at 8:00 pm, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 10am at St Louis de Montfort RC Church, 75 New York Ave, Sound Beach, New York 11789. A private cremation will occur Thursday, November 2, 2023, following the mass.
