It's been a year and I can't bring myself to delete your work emails. Seeing your Facebook page reminds me of all the pics you'd share of your grandson. It still brings tears to my eyes remembering you're gone. All my best to your family as they process this anniversary and your birthday.

My heartfelt condolences to the  Chichi family. I knew Tony when we were both just discovering life (age 16 to 20ish). We shared some joyful innocent times until our lives went in different directions. Tony was my senior prom date in '69 and I was his in '70. I remember seeing him off to college with his family at the airport, our good times with friends (Buz, Ev, et al)at his parent's home in Bay Shore and later the lively and loving family functions in Brooklyn, our listening to Barbra Streisand records for hours, playing chess; his mother teaching me the correct way to eat spaghetti. It was a blessing for me to know Tony and his family. I am so happy that Tony found the love of his life in Karen. May memories give you comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Tony's family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. I did have the opportunity to meet Tony on a few occasions and found him to be a friendly professional really nice guy.

My Dear Friend Tony,  How you will be missed.  You and I worked together for so many years although we live in different states we always kept in contact.  I enjoyed our trips as a team and our fun times after work.  I will miss your smile and your humor about life.  You will be missed by everyone but we will always keep you in our hearts until we meet again.  I know Tony loved his family, he always talked about them and always had pictures to show.  Just know he will watch over you from above.

I had the pleasure of working in a cubicle next to Tony for many years.  We also had to opportunity to teach several week long classes in which Tony loved to purchase "prizes" for the students.  We both loved to travel and shared a map outside our cubicles with the destinations we went to.  Of course Tony's far exceeded mine.  He was always so thoughtful.  We both have Jack Russells and he found me a deck of cards with a picture that looked like my dog.  He loved life and people.  When a co-worker was being treated for cancer, he sent her a card that meant so much to her.  Of course his family meant the world to him.  He loved to talk about his son, Justin, and was so excited when Justin married Amanda.  He shared pictures from the engagement party, to the destination wedding, to of course the excitement of being a grandpa.  He has pictures in the office of Justin from the time he was very young until recently.  His decorations include an "I love you Daddy" note from Justin, to pictures of Karen, Amanda, Stephen, Winnie (his Jack Russell), and his godchildren.  He was so full of live and was always smiling. That's how he'll be remembered.  My prayers and condolences to his family.

My heart goes out to the ChiChi  family. Tony accidentally sent me a few pictures of Stephen last August. He really selected the wrong number on his phone. We laughed, & it was so good to touch base again. He loves Stephen so much. We worked together for years & then I retired a couple of years ago & lost touch. I admired Tony's smile, his love for his family, & his dedication to make others happy.

To Anthony's family - I met Tony when we were only 14 at Bay Shore High. We were best of friends with a shared love of singing in the choir and many drama productions. After graduating the year before him, I lost touch, but ended up at the Internal Revenue too. I will always regret not contacting him during the past years. I cherish many memories of our friendship and high school antics. He knew me as Nan Wisbauer back then. My love and heartfelt condolences to you all. Rest with God, sweet friend.

Our hearts are breaking for the Chichi family, especially baby Stephen who will miss growing up with his wonderful grandpa.  Tony was so proud of his family as was evidenced by his FB posts. Tony will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We feel blessed to have called him friend.  Tony, you will live forever in our memory!

Karen, I am so sorry to hear about Tony. He was a wonderful man And a great friend. Tony and I worked together years ago and he has special place in my heart. God bless you and your family at this most difficult time.
