Tony cared deeply for his family, friends and former student athletes. His passion throughout his life was running - whether it was competing for Port Jefferson in cross country (XC) and track, continuing his running career at Yankton College in South Dakota, coaching XC and track across multiple decades at Longwood and St. Anthony's among others, and starting a race timing business, Just-In-Time Racing. Throughout all of these endeavors, Tony formed friendships that lasted a lifetime and made a tremendous impact on the community. And while running was his passion, family stood above all else – family vacations to Puerto Rico and Lake Miltona in Minnesota; skiing in Utah and Vermont; and playing golf are memories that will continue to be cherished
