It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara E. Curcio, who departed this world on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the age of 86. Barbara, a resident of Ridge, New York, was born in the vibrant city of Bronx, NY, where she began her journey through life. She was also formerly of Syosset.
Barbara was a beloved wife, cherished mother, and devoted grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, John, with whom she shared a marriage of over 62 years, her sons Philip and Paul and her daughter Janice; her grandchildren Taylor Rae, Alexis, Jordan, Alyssa and Joshua; and her great-granddaughters Ayla, Aster and Arlie. Barbara's family was her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
A woman of unwavering faith, Barbara was a devout born-again Christian who found strength and solace in her spiritual beliefs. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joyous and challenging times, and leading her to profoundly touch innumerable lives with her expression of Christian love and strength.
A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes - Miller Place, located at 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. Two visitations will be held, the first from Noon until 2 p.m., and the second from 5 p.m until 7 p.m. A memorial service will occur Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM
In remembrance of Barbara's life and her compassionate spirit, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a charity of your choice in her memory, in lieu of flowers.
