My memories of Charlie include clamming out on Long Island, famiIy beach gatherings, times at the Big"N" and of living with Charlie and Lillian for 3 months while I was in High School.. in later years I don't remember ever seeing Charlie when he didn't have a tape measure in his pocket...!
My love and condolences to his family,

I have known Charlie since we were teenagers. So many memories of beach parties, fishing, family weddings and hanging out with his family in Sound Beach. In later years he and Charlie Jr. became my saviours when I bought a house that turned out to be a money pit! At every crisis I would put on a pot of coffee and get a pad and pen and he would figure out what bad to be done. Then both Charlies would do their magic! So glad I got to spend time with him in December. Rest in peace my friend ..you will be missed by many.

I remember meeting him several times at family gatherings and you could just see how much he loved his family. He was always full of life! We are sorry for your loss.
