Very sorry to hear of Carl's passing. We have happy memories of visiting with him and Mary on Long Island in 1996. The warm welcome and wonderful hospitality enjoyed is something that we will never forget. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to all the Schmidt family at this sad time.

Judy and I were blessed in knowing Carl for the past nine years.
I first met Carl when he created graphics for the newly formed Computer Club. Later I enjoyed playing Bocce with him. More recently he shared his beliefs with us at the Men’s Bible Study.
Carl was one of kindest men that we knew. Always smiling, singing or whistling. Always available to help someone.
Carl was an example for us all.
Simply stated, to know Carl was to love Carl.
Carl’s faith in God sustained him during the difficult days of his life.
We will miss Carl.
But we know that God called him home as a “good and faithful servant.
