Christopher Crescimanno, age 60, of Ridge, New York passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. Christopher was born March 8, 1960 in Santa Margarita, Sicily, Italy. At 8 years old, he moved to America and lived in New York City, later coming to Farmingville. He owned a Pizza Place with his brother, Dominic, in Riverhead until 1989. He married Jennie DiSanto on August 24, 1985 and raised two daughters, Anna and Sophia, and a son, Joseph, in the 40 years of their relationship. After selling his Pizza Place, he did real estate for a time, and then became the business manager of Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Rocky Point, NY. Chris had a passion for outdoor recreational sports like hunting and fishing. His favorite was rabbit hunting with his Beagles. He also enjoyed constructing and flying model airplanes, working on his cars (72 Chevelle and 68 Firebird), listening to music, and watching nature shows on TV. He also loved being a Papa to his grandson, Jaxon.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Giuseppe, his mother, Anna, as well as his brother Dominic. He is survived by his wife Jennie, three children, Anna, Joseph, and Sophia, his grandson, Jaxon, his brother John, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Christopher will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. A visitation will occur Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 7, 2020 at 9:30 AM at St Anthony of Padua RC Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York 11778. An interment will occur Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, New York 11933.
