

Born on May 21, 1943 in Queens, NY, Deanna devoted her life to education, shaping countless young minds as a dedicated teacher in the NYC School District. Her impact extended far beyond the classroom—she was a mentor, a guide, and a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A creative soul, Deanna found great joy in arts and crafts, often spending hours painting beautiful pieces that reflected her warmth and imagination. She was an avid reader, loved immersing herself in stories, and had a sharp mind for puzzles. Above all, she cherished moments spent with her beloved family and friends.
Deanna is survived by her loving children: Rebecca (John Kane), David (Brittany), and James (Melissa); and her adored grandchildren: Jaden, Tyler, and Lucas.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at St. Louis de Montfort R.C. Church, 75 New York Ave, Sound Beach, NY 11789.
