Deborah met her husband, Thomas, on the Port Jefferson ferry, and they were married for 25 years. Together they raised their two beloved children, Michael and Sarah. Deborah’s love extended fully to her brother Michael Savino and her daughter-in-law Alex. With great care to her many spoiled fur babies.
In her personal life, Deborah found meaning and calm in crafting, nature, and healing. She loved the beach and held close a sense of spirituality that guided her interests in gemology and Reiki. A teacher at heart, she also expressed herself as an artist and poet, bringing boldness and reflection to the way she moved through the world.
