Dolores J. Biele

Dolores was a woman who lived her life with a big personality, big passion, and an even bigger heart. She embraced life wholeheartedly and poured that same energy into everyone she loved. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, partner, friend, hostess, traveler, and social butterfly who had a remarkable gift for making every gathering feel like a celebration.

Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Frank H. Biele Jr. and is survived by her children, Frank H. Biele III, Dean C. Biele, and Lori A. Biele-Fratello. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Ella Biele, Madigan Fratello, and Stellan Biele, who were among the greatest joys of her life. They knew her love through her endless hugs and kisses—kisses, kisses, kisses—and through the unwavering encouragement, pride, and affection she showered upon them. Some of their happiest memories will forever be baking cookies with Grandma, where the kitchen was always filled with laughter, sweet treats, and our family favorite, sauerbraten.

Dolores shared her life and many adventures with her longtime partner, Al Milmant.

A true traveler at heart, Dolores had a passion for seeing the world. She traveled extensively, collecting experiences, stories, memories, and lifelong friendships along the way. She loved the excitement of flying, cruising, scenic motorcycle trips, and embracing every adventure that came her way. She never needed much of an excuse to pack a suitcase or celebrate life.

A devoted sports fan, Dolores proudly cheered for the New York Jets and the New York Yankees. Some of her favorite days were spent tailgating before Jets games, surrounded by family, friends, great food, and excitement. For Dolores, the memories made before kickoff were just as special as the game itself.

Dolores loved her nightly Jeopardy!, and never shied away from a spirited political discussion. She stood firmly behind her beliefs, welcomed lively debate, and always spoke her mind with conviction.

And then there were the parties.

Dolores was the ultimate hostess. She loved bringing people together, filling a home with conversation, laughter, delicious food, music, dancing, and love. She didn't simply host the party...she was the party. Her warmth, generosity, and infectious enthusiasm made everyone feel welcome.

She also believed life was better with a little sparkle. Her nails were always beautifully done, and she adored diamonds, rhinestones, and anything that shimmered. Whether it was jewelry, clothing, or accessories, Dolores never passed up an opportunity to add a little bling. It perfectly reflected the vibrant way she lived her life.

She had a presence that could light up any room and a personality that could never be forgotten. She loved deeply, supported fiercely, laughed often, and gave herself completely to the people and things that mattered most.

Dolores leaves behind a legacy of love, family, laughter, adventure, generosity, and unforgettable memories. Her grandchildren will remember the kisses, the cookies, and the countless moments that made Grandma so special. Her children will remember her unwavering love and constant support. Her family and friends will remember the laughter, the dancing, the tailgates, the celebrations, and the woman who made every day feel just a little brighter.

Big personality. Big passion. Big love. That was Dolores.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated.

Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25a, Miller Place, NY 11764, US, on August 10, 2026, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

Committal will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933, US, on August 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
