

She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Nicholas and Carla; her sister, Josi; her brother-in-law, Bill; and her adored niece, Aria Tsantes. Doria also leaves behind many beloved cousins and extended family members, including Diane and Joe Calabrese, Will and Andrea Grill, Bella Cand, Emma Cand, Judy and Fred Schroback, and the entire Candelma family, all of whom will continue to cherish her memory.
Doria also leaves behind her beloved partner, Paul Mahoney, with whom she shared 18 wonderful years together a lasting partnership filled with devotion, laughter, and companionship. Her work family at Bryan Soloman & Associates will miss her tremendously. Doria was a talented paralegal and dedicated 18 years of service to the firm.
Doria’s deep love for animals was evident throughout her life. She is now reunited with her treasured pets who crossed the rainbow bridge before her: Cookie, Kissy, Susie, Nickie, Sushi, and Sausage. Her beloved First Lady, Noodles, and Rocco — her cherished pup nephew — remain behind and will miss her fondly every day.
Doria studied Law at Hofstra University and brought intelligence, creativity, and determination into every aspect of her life. She was a talented jewelry designer and creator whose artistic gifts reflected her thoughtful and imaginative spirit. She also found joy in reading, watching cooking shows, cooking for loved ones, making jewelry, playing with dogs, spending time with her sister and niece, working out, and following politics.
To know Doria was to know someone truly special. Family and friends describe her as adventurous, beloved, brave, cherished, compassionate, devoted, faithful, generous, gentle, hard-working, honest, humorous, kind-hearted, loyal, resilient, and thoughtful. Her warmth and strength touched countless lives, and her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
Though gone too soon, Doria’s love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.
