Dear Grandpa,
Yesterday was 5 years since we lost you and it breaks my heart that you are gone. I miss you everyday and wish I could wake up and you would still be here. I love you so much and hope you are having fun with the Lord and all the angels.

Grandpa, you were such a man of faith in the Lord, and as such you were an example of strength and conviction to me, as your granddaughter.  Your heart is joyous and you shared that openly through your love, jokes, playful winks, your wise advice and abundant generousity.  I will hold tightly to all of the memories I have of you in this life, and celebrate the fact that your new life in your new home has just begun.  I love you grandpa and can't wait to see you again someday! ... I hope they have Jalepeno peppers up in heaven for you!

What I love most about my grandpa was his infectious lightheartedness. No matter what the circumstance, he always had the ability to make you laugh and feel loved. He was a great example of positivity and taught me how to look for the good in everyone and every situation. Although I will miss him so much, I know he would laugh and say not to worry because he is happier now to be with his Lord!

Hi Felix, it actually is the second time I officially call your name, the last time was when we skyped, it is hard to believe you have passed away… I was hoping that we would meet in person, that was my prayer while you were sick, and I really wish I could have! I'm thankful for Christen having a wonderful grandpa, a good example among people around her.  She told me that my way of joking is similar to yours.  I was thinking maybe we can do a competition… I still believe we can, but at another time, in a beautiful place! I didn't have a chance to call you grandpa, but it is ok calling you grandpa now in my culture, you know I am Chinese!  Grandpa, have peace in Him and rest and joy!  I love you!
