Florence was a resident of Ridge, New York.
Florence passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering love.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph for 63 wonderful years. Together they built a life centered on family, friendship, and countless cherished memories. Florence was a devoted mother to her daughter, Kelly (Paul), and took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Roland (Jess) and Emma (Evan). Her greatest joy was becoming a great-grandmother to her precious Aurora, who brought endless happiness to her life.
Florence found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved taking long walks with her beloved fur baby, Bubbles, tending to her beautiful flower gardens, and growing fresh vegetables. She enjoyed relaxing days at the beach, dancing, and losing herself in a good book. An exceptional cook, Florence was especially known for her delicious chicken cordon bleu, a meal that family and friends always looked forward to sharing around her table.
A compassionate and giving person, Florence dedicated her time as a volunteer patient advocate, offering comfort, guidance, and support to others during difficult moments. Her generous spirit and caring heart touched the lives of many.
Above all else, Florence will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family and friends. Her warmth, strength, gentle nature, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed and forever treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives she enriched.
Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25a, Miller Place, NY 11764, US, on June 9, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
