

She was a wonderful storyteller who delighted in sharing old stories, keeping memories alive through her words and laughter. Those moments spent listening to her reminisce will be cherished for years to come.
She also had a love of travel, particularly the many meaningful trips she shared with her sister, Lorraine, to Portugal. Those journeys were filled with adventure and many memories that brought her immense happiness.
Geraldine shared a deep bond with her twin brother, Warren. Their connection was a constant source of comfort, strength and love.
Geraldine had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her cats. She found great joy in their quiet companionship. Her love and care for them reflected her gentle nature.
She is survived by her loving children: Laura Palmer (Dave), Michael Kowalchuk (Margaret), and Paul Kowalchuk. Geraldine was a beloved grandmother to David (Cirsten), Brittany, Megan, Kelly, Christopher, Grace and Nicole, and great grandmother to Brenley. Also survived by her twin brother Warren Koudelka.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Geraldine’s memory at a memorial service on January 9, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764. A committal service will follow at 1:30 pm at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 NY 112, Coram, NY 11727.
