Helen Galvez

Helen is now reunited with her beloved husband, Christopher Galvez, who passed away in 2019. Their beautiful love story began when they met in Brooklyn, and together they shared 59 devoted years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment.

Helen leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her children and their spouses, Deborah and Kevin Cantwell, Helen and Frank Maggio, Christopher and Virginia Galvez, and Joseph Galvez. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Brian, Katie, Frankie, and Alaina, and a treasured great-grandmother to Johnathan and Jamie. She is also survived by her brother, Anthony Martinez, as well as her nieces and nephews: Anthony, Annamarie, Michael, Joseph, John, Marissa, Cecilia and Andrew.

Helen will be remembered by all who knew her as beloved, cherished, humorous, and loyal. Her warmth, strength, and sense of humor touched countless lives, and her love for her family was the foundation of everything she did.
