Helen MacLean

Welcomed with open arms by her beloved family members that have passed before her; her beloved husband Alexander and her children Mary Ellen and Peter.

Helen leaves behind her beautiful family, her sons Alexander (Kathy) and Stephen. Her sisters Margie Kelly Eberlin and Vivian Kelly Sexton. Her grandchildren; Gordon Brosdal, Erika Brosdal Picca, Jessica Brosdal Corso, Alexander MacLean IV, Kelly MacLean Schwartz, Ryan C. MacLean and Katherine MacLean. Her great-grandchildren; Aiden Picca, Haley Brosdal, Ava Brosdal, Trevor Brosdal, Pearce Chakmakian, Ella Corso, Jack Ryan Schwartz, Grayson Schwartz, Caden MacLean, Lyla MacLean, Tyler MacLean, Claire MacLean, Everly Carrochi and Kinsley Carrochi.

A devout Catholic Helen worked for St. Louis de Montfort's parish office as a secretary and volunteered her time at the Miller Place Library.

Helen was always “so happy to see you”, whether it was her family, her aides, or anyone who popped in to see her. She reminded us how her father used to tell her and her sisters “you kids don’t know how lucky you are.” But she did. She knew how lucky to have the 102 1/2 years of life she did. We may have been the luckier ones to have such a sweet, progressive, grateful, class act of a woman in our lives. Mom, Grandma, GG, Helen will be forever in our hearts.
