

Helen A. Zeko, affectionately known to everyone as "Cookie," passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and treasured memories.
Cookie was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Tony and his wife, Crystal. She was a proud grandmother to Anna, Tonimarie, and Jennifer, and a cherished great-grandmother to Noah, Violet, Nicholas, Matthew, Olivia, Sonya, and Dylan. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Cookie had a vibrant personality that could light up any room. She was kind-hearted, generous, adventurous, and wonderfully outgoing, with a fun-loving spirit that made life exciting. Those who knew her will always remember her infectious smile, quick wit, and the joy she brought to every gathering.
She had a lifelong admiration for Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop, whose glamour and playful personalities reflected her own unique sense of style. Cookie loved fashion and took great pride in her elaborate wardrobe, especially her beautiful collection of shoes and pocketbooks. She also looked forward to lunch dates with her dear friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and conversation.
Above all, Cookie loved deeply and lived life to the fullest. She embraced every opportunity for adventure, celebrated the people she loved, and left an unforgettable impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever remain with those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25a, Miller Place, NY 11764, US, on July 28, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again on July 28, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A committal service will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 NY-112, Coram, NY 11727, US, on July 29, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
